City again named one of Hawai‘i’s Best-In-State Employers by Forbes

HONOLULU – The City and County of Honolulu has once again been recognized by Forbes as one of Hawaiʻi’s Best-In-State Employers, earning the No. 1 ranking in Government Services and No. 5 overall statewide for 2026. This marks the eighth consecutive year the City has appeared on the prestigious list.

The recognition reflects the City’s continued commitment to fostering a workplace where employees are supported, empowered, and equipped to succeed. The annual Forbes Best-In-State Employers rankings are compiled in partnership with market research firm Statista and are based on independent, anonymous employee surveys.
